One of the major headaches recently is caused by the great coffee maker company, Keurig. They have decided to rename all their newly released products that have been certified to be named with something that starts with “K”, as if they want to imprint their brand hardly on each of their machines. Thus, a lot of people who wish to replace or upgrade their coffee makers with a Keurig K155 and unaware of the decision often end up questioning the differences between it and the old Keurig B155. Are they completely identical, or does the certification cause a change or two? See also : Keurig K155 Vs K150.
The exterior appearance of Keurig B155 and Keurig K155 is entirely, one hundred percent identical. You still get the firm look of a silver box and a full-color LED touch-screen on either product. And yes, the size is the same on B155 and K155. The weight, too, though if you are a super detailed person then indeed there may be a very small difference due to the change of the internal design. But generally you need the same level of energy to pick either of these machines up. They a large 90-ounce water reservoir, so they are perfect to be used for a small group of people, and both could be an excellent addition to your office. They both have several brew options from 4, 6, 8, to 10 ounces. There is an automatic shut-off feature, and they both operate with 1,400 Watts of power. So, features and specs are very identical.
The differences would be the internal design, as we have said before. Keurig K155 has NSF Certification while Keurig B155 has not. Keurig had changed and modified the interior design to meet the required standards, but these changes are very minor, i.e. more rounded corners to make cleaning easier. Anyhow, we all certainly prefer the model that has met the standards, even though both machines are actually capable of doing the exact same functions and giving similar performance.
