The Nespresso Inissia is more of a basic espresso maker. It is quite small and lightweight, so it won’t eat up too much space in your kitchen. Although being small, it is surprisingly capable of producing high pressure for the extraction process, up to 19 bars of pressure. One may talk about energy efficiency when talking about Nespresso Inissia. The machine has two programmable buttons for espresso and lungo shots. If you want to make cappuccinos or lattes with this machine, you would need to purchase the additional Nespresso Aeroccino Plus Milk Frothier.

The Nespresso Pixie actually has a lot in common with the Inissia. In some ways, you can see the Pixie as a scaled-up version of the Inissia. Being small and sleek, the Pixie uses metal material while the Inissia is made of plastic. So, talking about durability, the Pixie would likely endure for a longer time than the Inissia. Its water tank is removable with a capacity of 24-oz. Unlike its little sister Inissia, the Pixie is equipped with a water level indicator, making it easy to know just when you need to add more. However, the machine also does not come with a built-in frothier, and you would need to install the Nespresso Aeroccino Plus Milk Frothier in order to make coffee.

Conclusion
Between the two products, it is obvious that the Nespresso Pixie holds more value due to its extra features. The machine is excellent for a single person or for family usage. But, still, Nespresso Inissia is also very good, and would be a great cheaper alternative.
